ROAD TO SOCHI
Butner is making his first Olympic appearance and will represent Team USA in the two-man event at the Sochi Games. He was selected to pilot the USA-3 men’s two-man sled after posting seven top-10 finishes on the world cup tour in 2013-14 – highlighted by two bronze medals. His third-place finish at the 2013-14 Lake Placid World Cup helped cap a historic U.S. podium sweep in the two-man event – a feat the U.S. will look to repeat in Sochi.
