ROAD TO SOCHI
Shibutani partnered with her brother, Alex Shibutani, in 2005. The duo made its debut on the senior circuit in 2010-11, and became the first U.S. team to medal at its world championships debut. Also, with the pair's bronze medal-winning performance, she became the youngest ice dancer to medal at a world championships since 1962. Since then, the pair has collected seven grand prix medals – including two bronze medals during the 2013-14 season. With a second-place finish at the 2014 National Championships, she is making her first Olympic appearance.
