In his 12th professional season, Orpik is one of the top shutdown defenders in the NHL and is one of 13 Olympic veterans on the men's hockey team, having been a part of the silver-medal winning effort in Vancouver. As a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins, he has won a Stanley Cup and been a key factor in the team's recent success.
