ROAD TO SOCHI
Inspired after watching the 2006 Olympic Winter Games, Kelly is a product of the USA Luge development program and his career has taken off since. He has been hampered by multiple injuries, most notably a broken vertebra in his back, but he recovered to compete in his first world cup season in 2013-14. After climbing the international ranks on the world cup circuit, Kelly earned his first spot on the U.S. Olympic Team.
