ROAD TO SOCHI
With two Olympic appearances, two national titles and multiple world cup top-10 finishes, Niccum is a seasoned veteran on the luge track. He teamed up with his third partner, Jayson Terdiman, after the Vancouver Games and earned a bronze medal in their second start. The two were sidelined in 2012-13 with Niccum requiring Achilles and back surgery, but made a successful comeback in 2013-14 to qualify for Sochi after winning a December race-off with U.S. teammates Jake Hyrns and Andrew Sherk.
