ROAD TO SOCHI
Sullivan has been a fixture on the U.S. national team for the better part of a decade. He began his career as a four-event skier, but eventually shifted his focus to downhill and super-G. He finished the 2012-13 season ranked 14th in the world cup downhill standings – the top ranking for any U.S. male downhill skier. After recovering from knee surgery in 2013, he returned to earn his fourth consecutive Olympic berth.
