ROAD TO SOCHI
Ganong debuted on the world cup circuit in 2010, and quickly emerged as one of the leading downhill skiers on the U.S. national team. He posted top-30 finishes in all but two world cup downhill races during the 2012-13 season, and completed the year ranked 18th in the world cup downhill standings. After winning the super-G title at the 2013 National Championships, he is looking to contend for a medal in both events as he makes his Olympic debut.
