ROAD TO SOCHI
Bjornsen made his world cup debut in 2013 and earned three top-three finishes at the 2013 National Championships – including his first national title in the 15-kilometer freestyle. He capped the season with a 14th-place finish in team sprint at his first world championships. Showing great promise, he secured his first Olympic berth and is the youngest skier on the 2014 U.S. Olympic Cross-Country Team.
