ROAD TO SOCHI
Bjornsen recovered from back and foot injuries in 2013 to win her second national title and earn her first world cup top-10 finish in a sprint. During the 2013-14 season, she earned her first career world cup points in a team sprint with three top-10 finishes on the circuit. Along the way, she helped the 4x5-kilometer relay team to a historic fourth-place finish at the 2013 World Championships. A sprint specialist, she is looking to contend with the sprint freestyle field in her first Olympic appearance.
