ROAD TO SOCHI
Freeman has posted some of the best U.S. cross-country distance results for nearly three decades. The New Hampshire native's accolades include winning the inaugural U23 world championships, and a pair of fourth-place finishes at the 2003 and 2009 World Championships – the best U.S. results in more than two decades. In 2012, he captured his 10th national title, and his two third-place finishes at the 2014 National Championships helped him secure his fourth Olympic berth.
