ROAD TO SOCHI
A six-year veteran of the U.S. national team, Hoffman made a statement at the 2012 National Championships, claiming the 30-kilometer classic national title. He followed that performance by earning the 2013 national title in the 15K pursuit. He continued his success on the international circuit, earning a top-10 finish at the 2012-13 Canmore World Cup, and two top-15 results at the 2013 World Championships – highlighted by a 10th-place finish in the relay – to secure his first Olympic berth.
