ROAD TO SOCHI
Sargent made her debut with the U.S. national team in 2011, and immediately established herself as an elite competitor on the relay team. She has a breakout season in 2012-13, earning five world cup top-10 finishes – highlighted by a sixth-place finish in sprint freestyle at the Sochi World Cup test event. The 2012 national 5-kilometer classic champion added a slew of world cup top-10 finishes in the lead up to the Sochi Games.
