A leading slopestyle specialist, Brown gained notoriety in 2010 after winning his first X Games gold medal and topping the slopestyle AFP world rankings – all before his 19th birthday. He continued to garner podium finishes throughout the 2011 and 2012 seasons before suffering two ankle injuries in 2013. Brown punched his ticket to the Sochi Games with podium finishes at three Olympic qualifiers, highlighted by a win at the 2013-14 Breckenridge U.S. Grand Prix/World Cup. As the first skier to land a triple cork 1440, Brown is poised to medal in slopestyle.
