ROAD TO SOCHI
After earning a spot on the 2002 U.S. Olympic Team, Cook was sidelined due to an injury that put her Olympic dream on hold until the 2006 Olympic Winter Games. In 2010, she made her second Olympic appearance, finishing just outside the top 10. A seasoned veteran on the world cup circuit, she claimed two world cup podium finishes during the 2012-13 season to bring her total world cup medal count to nine. She capped the season ranked second in the world cup aerials standings and won her fourth national title. The 2013-14 season saw similar results with four top-10 world cup finishes. She is making her third Olympic appearance in Sochi.
