ROAD TO SOCHI
Goepper burst onto the slopestyle scene in 2012, earning multiple podium finishes – including the slopestyle silver medal at X Games Aspen. He is coming off a banner year in 2013, in which he earned his first X Games gold medal, claimed the bronze medal at the FIS World Championships and stood atop the AFP slopestyle standings. Heading into 2014, Goepper won the first U.S. Olympic qualifier at the Breckenridge Dew Tour, followed by a silver medal at the 2013-14 Copper Mountain World Cup to secure his first Olympic berth. Entering the Sochi Games as the 2014 X Games gold medalist, he is poised to be a medal contender in slopestyle.
