ROAD TO SOCHI
Herman made her debut during the 2009-10 season, earning multiple podium finishes to complete the season ranked second in the AFP World Tour overall standings. She carried her momentum into the following two seasons, claiming the bronze medal at the inaugural world championships women’s slopestyle event in 2011. She consistently earned top-five finishes throughout the 2012-13 season, and became the first American female to capture the world cup slopestyle crown in 2013. With a second-place finish at the 2013-14 Park City U.S. Grand Prix, she is making her Olympic debut.
