ROAD TO SOCHI
After becoming the first U.S. skicross athlete to win world cup gold in 2011, Teller added three more world cup medals to his resume during the 2012-13 season. He concluded the year by claiming the skicross title at the 2013 U.S. National Championships and the bronze medal at the 2013 World Championships. An X Games gold medalist, Teller secured a gold medal at the final 2013-14 World Cup event before the Sochi Games to clinch his first Olympic appearance.
