ROAD TO SOCHI
Van was one of the leading advocates for the inclusion of women’s ski jumping in the Olympic program, and captured gold in the inaugural world championships for women’s ski jumping in 2009. With more than 40 world cup podium finishes to her credit, the 13-time national champion is one of the most successful athletes in her sport. She is looking to make history as women's ski jumping makes its Olympic debut in Sochi.
