ROAD TO SOCHI
Teter won gold in her 2006 Olympic halfpipe debut, then silver in 2010. In 2011, she took second at the U.S. Open, then rocketed back in 2012 with bronze at X Games Aspen. In 2013, she soared to second at the U.S. Open, fourth and fifth at X Games Tignes and Aspen, and was sixth in the World Snowboarding Tour’s halfpipe standings. This season, she had three podium spots in a row at the U.S. Grand Prix Olympic qualification events to secure her place in Sochi.

PERSONAL
Daughter of Pat and Jeff Teter…Has four brothers – Abe, Elijah, Josh and Amen…Her charity, Hannah’s Gold, sells maple syrup to fund an impoverished village in Kenya. It has raised nearly $200,000 for the cause…Her line of underwear, Sweet Cheeks – Panties with a Purpose, raises funds for the charity partner Children International, which helps aid children living in extreme poverty...Hobbies include mountain biking and surfing.
