ROAD TO SOCHI
Jacobellis' illustrious carrer has included a silver medal at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games, 27 world cup wins, 10 X Games medals (eight golds) and numerous podiums. She has been dominating the circuit for almost seven straight seasons. The 2011-12 season brought three consecutive world cup wins before a knee injury during X Games practice forced her miss gunning for a fifth straight X Games gold medal. She came back in 2013-14 and has landed on the podium in three of four world cups, and won her seventh X Games gold medal.
