ROAD TO SOCHI
Gold's solid foundation landed him a spot at both the 2011 Junior World Championships and 2011 World Championships. He then earned a top-10 finish at the Cardrona World Cup the following season, before receiving an invite to X Games Tignes and finishing the 2012-13 season ranked 11th. This season, he placed third at the Dew Tour and won the Copper Mountain U.S. Grand Prix/World Cup to cement his first Olympic appearance alongside his sister, Arielle Gold.
