ROAD TO SOCHI
Walker made her appearance known with a victory at the 2011 National Championships. In 2012, she took a step back from competing and hit the snow and gym hard to train for the Sochi Games. At the 2013 World Championships, she was the top U.S. female with a fifth-place finish. Now, at just 16 years old, she finished fourth at the Copper Mountain U.S. Grand Prix/World Cup and third at one of the Mammoth Mountain U.S. Grand Prix to cement her first Olympic appearance.
