ROAD TO SOCHI
After serving as an alternate at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, Smith is making her Olympic debut in Sochi. The 12-time world cup medalist transitioned to the ice after a successful inline skating career in 2007. She secured her first Olympic berth by sweeping the 500-, 1,000- and 1,500-meter events at the 2014 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
