ROAD TO SOCHI
Malone is making his second Olympic appearance after claiming the bronze medal as a member of the 5,000-meter relay at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Despite an injury-plagued career, he has won 15 world cup medals – including three during the 2013-14 World Cup season, when he competed on the U.S. team that claimed its first 5,000 relay overall world cup title in history.
