ROAD TO SOCHI
Since beginning her speedskating career less than four years ago, Bowe has quickly established herself as a top contender on the world stage. She opened the 2013-14 season by winning the 1,000-meter gold medal in world record-setting fashion at the Salt Lake City World Cup. Having reached the world cup podium in every 1,000-meter event so far this season, she is poised to medal in her Olympic debut.
