OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC TRAINING SITES
The mission of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training sites is to access additional resources, services and facilities for athletes and National Governing Bodies, while providing an elite athlete training environment that positively impacts performance. The USOC is partnered with 15 U.S. Olympic Training Sites — including five that also serve as U.S. Paralympic Training Sites — across 13 states.
In 2012, training sites were utilized by nearly 600 U.S. national team athletes, including109 Olympians and 64 Paralympians.

  • East Tennessee State University – Johnson City, Tenn.
  • USA Gymnastics National Team Training Center at Karolyi Ranch – Huntsville, Texas
  • Hill Country Shooting Sports Center – Kerrville, Texas
  • Lakeshore Foundation – Birmingham, Ala.
  • Oklahoma City National High Performance Center – Oklahoma City, Okla.
  • Pettit National Ice Center – Milwaukee, Wis.
  • Princeton National Rowing Association – Princeton, N.J.
  • University of Central Oklahoma – Edmond, Okla.
  • US Sailing Center – Miami, Fla.
  • SPIRE Institute – Geneva, Ohio
  • Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation – Sun Valley, Idaho
  • U.S. National Whitewater Center – Charlotte, N.C.
  • Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation – Park City and Kearns, Utah
